I spoke with Sarah at our adoption agency yesterday and FINALLY got a ballpark number out of her. Something I have been trying to do for about six months!! There are less than 30 families in front of us!! This does not mean after 30 more children's files come in we will be matched. We have a narrow checklist of medical needs and someone behind us with a broader checklist will be matched before us. However, we have needs selected that families in front of us do not have listed, so we will be matched before them. While the list does not move chronologically, it felt good knowing we are close to the top!! I am still hoping to know something by the end of May!!

Yay! I am just hoping we hear something by the end of the summer. I don't want to have to renew a THIRD time!!!
Here is to hoping the month of MAY brings more than just May~flowers. It brings referrals. Thanks for sharing your blog with friends. I miss you on the group...but it is hard to chime in when is all we do is wait. Did you read the latest newsletter from WC dept.? I thought that was a step in the right direction for them and us combined. Take care M.
